Thistle.
Burdock blossom.
Several herons today. I love all that green in this pic.
Flying in the mist (which made focus tricky but is rather lovely, I think). (High on my list of Pics I'm Not Sharing is one of a heron.... um, lightening his load. Substantially. Pretty impressive capacity, really!)
Green-backed heron-- the first I've seen in Vermont, I think.
Yet another blue heron.
