What I am proud to announce is that I am a Christian who believes God made some people-- lots of them, in fact-- gay or bisexual. I believe Biblical pronouncements against homosexuality should be taken no more seriously than those against women teaching or leaving their heads uncovered, and much less seriously than stuff like "love your neighbor as yourself." I support gay marriage, both civil and Christian. I wish Christians could stop worrying about who people love, and focus on ending hate instead.
