Yuck

Saturday I had a lovely walk-- switched to early winter mode, and took my first thermos of cocoa out to Button Point. That evening I was amazingly tired and achy; thought perhaps I had done too much and/or not dressed warmly enough. Sunday morning the aches were gone but I was a bit congested and had a scratchy throat. Didn't realize until halfway through church that aches, congestion and scratchy throat added up to the onset of a bad cold. Today it has hit in force; all the above symptoms, plus a headache that just won't stop. Kidlet and hubby are doing a nice job of pampering me but nothing seems to really help. Did just realize I was getting dehydrated and maybe low blood sugar so switched to a soda instead of water.

Don't even have anything from Netflix to amuse me; am now on my sixth episode of Project Runway.

Leaving hubby and kidlet in charge of dinner. The pantry is nearly bare but there's a grocery just a couple of miles away, right?
