Some birds won't nest in a closed house. This is a robin nesting platform-- nice easy construction for our first effort. It is cut, glued and nailed. Next step, decoration by the kid, then a safe oil finish and it'll be ready to hang.
The construction isn't perfect, but it's not bad for a beginner effort, with handheld power tools rather than stationary.
